


ABOUT THE FREE PROGRAM
Smart Soul Food is a four-week cooking program led by UGK Culinary Director, Hell’s Kitchen finalist Steve Glenn and Program Manager Katrina Mazyck, where participants gain essential skills through demo classes and take home a food bundle with ingredients to serve up to six. Held four times a year and tailored to specific groups—like seniors or families—the program teaches diverse cultural cuisines, nutrition-conscious techniques, and practical ways to make meals healthier. With guidance from healthcare experts and a dedicated health assessment station, Smart Soul Food promotes better eating habits, tracks wellness outcomes, and empowers participants to cook with confidence. Good for the body and the soul.
