Feeding people has always been my love language. From cooking dinner at ten years old to serving kids across Richmond today, I believe every meal should nourish both the body and the heart.

Tyler Brightwell
UGK-CF Logistics & Sourcing Manager
Tyler Brightwell, born and raised on Richmond’s southside, grew up in a community where food connected families and inspired her lifelong passion for cooking. Her journey began at George Wythe High School and the Richmond Technical Center’s culinary program, which ignited her purpose and set her on a 25+ year path through fine dining, bakeries, yacht clubs, catering, and scratch kitchens. Known for her dedication to fresh, local ingredients, Tyler built strong relationships with Virginia farms and believes great food starts with the land.
Today, she brings that philosophy to UGK Community First, sourcing with care, planning meals, and delivering them directly to children across Richmond often greeted with joyful shouts of “Hey baby!” Her warmth, integrity, and commitment to nourishing families define her work. For Tyler, food is connection, culture, and care, and she continues to use her gifts to uplift her community every day.
